We live in this world where we strive to just make sure our futures are taken care of, we strive to make sure our retirement is in place, that our education is going to be good. We do so much all the time to store up essentially treasures for ourselves here on earth, don’t we? And we do it in the name of a God who says don’t worry about tomorrow. Don’t worry about tomorrow, worry about today. Worry about the here and the now, and I will take care of tomorrow.

‘I was sick, you came to visit me, I was in prison, you came, I was naked, you clothed me, I was hungry, you fed me, I was thirsty, you gave me [something] to drink.’ You can only show that by your example, not by your words; everybody can talk, talk is cheap.
You think that all the authority, all the preaching must come from the pulpit.
It’s not true!
It comes from the life of those who follow Jesus.
